This is an image from my ultrasound last week. Everything on the baby measured just as it should, and it's a boy. I can tell he is growing every day, as I have less and less room for my stomach and lungs!
A storm that started last week left us without power for a few hours. When we were downtown, Jason & I saw many umbrella casualties from the strong winds. You couldn't open your umbrella because this is what it would end up looking like. I was going to go to Union Square to do some shopping, but these crazy hurricane force winds will keep most of my xmas shopping on the internet this year!
Evolution Bureau's Christmas Party was held at
Butterfly this year. The food was soooo good, I was throwing back Shirley Temples and everyone had a great time! My favorite part of the meal was the Creme Brulee which was delicious.

This is an ultrasound from a couple of months ago. Yes, it's true, I'm pregnant. I'm now about 20 weeks along and I am getting my Level 2 Ultrasound this Friday. I can't wait to find out if it's a boy or a girl. I think it's a girl but who knows? I am feeling more tired than usual this week, maybe it's jet lag from last week's trip back east. Also feeling ligament stretching aches from everything getting moved around and repositioned.

This year, we went to Maryland for Thanksgiving and stayed with my brother Bill and his wife Amy. Amy created these homemade pumpkin & apple pies that were so delicious. The weather there was cold but not freezing so it definitely felt like the holidays are here. I discovered that I've developed a pretty bad case of airplane aversion - I was scared for most of the trip back to SF. There was alot of turbulence, I tuned into Channel 9 where you can listen to the pilots speak to air traffic control and that didn't really comfort me! It seems pretty unscientific, since the pilots are basically just reporting where they're hitting choppiness or turbulence and comparing notes.Anyway, we had a great trip - got to see the Capitol and went to the Smithsonian and some other museums. These pics are from the arboretum which is all indoors.
Here are some dinosaur skeletons from the Smithsonian. Every museum we went to was packed because it was right after Thanksgiving and all of the museums near the capitol are free.
