Cleo is getting bigger every day. Today was her first visit to our vet, Irving Street Pet Hospital. We went to Home Depot today and bought one of those very basic lawn mowers, the kind my Dad used to use 30 years ago. Jason mowed the lawn for the first time and it looks much better. You can tell Cleo has been practicing her poses lately.

I am starting to potty train Cleo. She's having a tough time getting used to the collar and leash and being outside. She'll eat the grass, spazz out, run and jump and do almost everything except go to the bathroom. She's so cute that it's tough to get upset at anything she does. It's hard to get a photo of her in focus, she's so hyper these days! Kitter follows her around and sniffs her constantly. I think they're going to get along OK.

Big weekend - on saturday we went to the Sf Giants vs. Florida Marlins game at Pac Bell Park. It was my first time at Pac Bell Park, it's pretty nice. Barry Bonds hit 2 home runs and SF won. After that, we went and picked up our new puppy, Cleo. She is SO cute!

Last night at about 10:00 pm there was a
5.2 earthquake centered in Gilroy. We were watching Spy Game and it felt like someone was kicking and rattling the bed. It lasted long enough for me to realize what was happening and move into the doorway. Our cat Kitter even got up out of her bed...

Today we took a trip to
Potrero Gardens - they have some beautiful plants and flowers. There is also a koi pond with a resident turtle and several birds. We had lunch at
Tommy's in the Inner Richmond - the Margaritas are very good and the food is not bad.
Leticias in the Castro is still my favorite for Mexican.

Some images from our newly planted backyard. It's no longer a giant sandbox. I haven't been writing here enough. Las weekend we went to see
Salton Sea which I thought was a pretty good film. Val Kilmer and Vincent D'Onofrio were great. I saw
The Deep End this week but I didn't care for it, thoght the plot was farfetched.
