Went to Japantown today - lunch at Isobune with the floating sushi boats. Last night I saw "Kissing Jessica Stein" - it was pretty good.
On a more serious note: I wrote an email to President Bush last week to help free
Lori Berenson. She is a 31 year old US citizen, now a prisoner in Peru since 1995.
"Lori is serving a life sentence with no chance of parole in a Peruvian prison. She was charged with "treason against the fatherland," based on accusations of her leadership role in a revolutionary guerrilla movement, the Tupac Amaru Revolutionary Movement (MRTA)."

I am sweet, like
Sugar.
I am all sweetness and light; fluffy bunnies and dancing fairies; happiness and joy. Too much of me will make you sick.
What Flavour Are You?So, If I was not sugar, I would be Bread. I don't really feel like sugar today....

Jason's birthday was Friday March 8th. The photo with the sky in the background was taken on the day of his Poppa's funeral last Thursday. He was standing in the neighborhood he grew up in as a child. The photo on the left is Jason deciding what to order for breakfast the next day. Happy Birthday, Buggle!
A couple of shots from the hotel.

Just got back from spending the weekend in Los Angeles. Jason's birthday was Friday so we all went to Universal Studios, and I got to pose with a Rugrat! We took the Universal Studios tour, that was pretty fun and I liked the ET ride too. We stayed at the
Avalon Hotel which was very well designed and has some great drinks. (the Blue Avalon, much like a Blue Hawaiian, was very tasty)

Today Jason & I took Zoe down to Golden Gate Park. I am embarrassed to say this was my first visit there, though I have lived in San Francisco for nearly three years. It was a beautiful day, the weather was great. We saw a gopher running across a path, many squirrels, ducks and tons of people walking their dogs. One male dog took a special interest in Zoe, but Jason cut that short. I want to go back when the rose garden is in bloom...
