Had a couple of bizarre dreams last night. I've been sick for a week and a half now so I think it's all the Nyquil. In the first dream, I'm running with two friends through a forest and we come to a stream that i normally can jump over, only this time there is barbed wire over the top. Richard tells me to follow him, so I do. We end up at a house, I go in, and my mother is there with another woman, and they've decorated the house for christmas, it's a large open space like an a-frame cabin. Everything feels very strange.

Just got back from a weekend in beautiful Portland visiting my family. I was hoping for some cool dreams 'cause I slept in the waterbed at my mom's but no such luck. Lots of old memories and deja vu type feelings up there, though.

Getaway: I am with my husband and my brother, for some reason we are buying or selling something illegal from some scuzzy guy in a crowded apartment. But he gives us wads of money and then asks us for $20 back cause now he has no money. Jason refuses to give it to him and we all take off. He seems to think that a good place to hide would be on the first floor of the guy's building, that looks like a dilapidated mini mall. I have to hang red fabric up in the windows so he & his gang won't see us. In the room next to ours is a family mourning a dead infant, room is very dark w/ many candles, wax spilling everywhere.. I keep telling them that we should really get out of here with all this cash, they're going to come looking for us. They want to sleep for a bit. I can't sleep but I wait for Jason & Bill to. Then I get up and my mom & Ines meet us outside, we all split up to go in separate cars. My mom & I head for a red convertible. Then I wake up and my cat is heaving on my bed. She throws up, it's 2AM and I have to clean it up. TGIF(?)

I am traveling on a river in a place that seems like a cross between Hawaii and Florida. I get a sense of deja-vu from the location, as I've seen it before in a dream or in reality. The tour guide is helping us look for vacuum cleaners (bizarre!). We get close to shore and she has to get out of the boat to deal with the alligators that keep coming up to the boat. In order to get out, so do all the passengers. There are a couple of people from work in the boat with me. So I get out and I put my hands around the alligators mouth (it's a really small gator) and the tour guide tells me that she has to check out the vacuum before she can give it to me...then I woke up.
